I tried all three flavors and I have to say I just wasn’t a fan of it alone in water. Though, orange is my favorite I just felt like it needed something else. That’s how I came up with this Soothing Apple Cider with Whole Food Magnesium recipe. I hate to toot my own horn, but it’s GOOOOOD!
- 8 apples, cored and quartered
- 4 sticks cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 1gallon of water
- ½ cup brown sugar
- Quarter up the apples
- Add all the ingredients t the crock pot
- Cook on high for at least 4 hours
- Turn down to low after the first 4 hours.
- mash the apples with a masher
- Strain off the skins, seeds, cloves, and cinnamon sticks.
- Pour 8 oz of cider in your mug and let cool slightly
- Add 1 tsp. of Whole Food Magnesium
